Paul Edwards joined Nearman, Maynard, Vallez, CPAs, P.A., in December 2010 and currently holds the position of Audit Supervisor. Paul graduated from Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia with a Bachelor of Arts in Business Administration in 2004. Paul also holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix and a Master of Accounting and Financial Management from the Keller School of Management at Devry University.
Paul conducts numerous audits both federal and state chartered. His clients range in asset size from approximately $10 million to more than $500 million. Some of Paul’s responsibilities as Audit Supervisor include planning the audit from start to completion, participating in the audit fieldwork, supervising and training staff, and reviewing work papers. He also assists in presenting client briefings of audit results and financial trend analyses. After fieldwork is completed, Paul prepares the financial statements and management reports detailing the audit results and our recommendations.
Paul has gained relevant experience in accounting and finance from his previous employment as an accounts representative and a compliance financial analyst.
